New promo shot of Tonks.

I hadn't even realised that NataliaTena.net has had this up for months, sigh. Reckon I should check there at least once a week, but better late than never. I cut out the article part of the scan because I didn't think it was a big deal (plus I can't read it as it's not even in English, so eh).



It's a nice promo, too. I don't think WB will ever release them for OotP, ugh.

Oh my God! That's a coat? I swear I thought she was wearing a skirt.

What's even weirder - I bought that coat in Camden Market on Saturday! :O Wow!

Wow,you actually found the coat! I would love to find one. I have looked and looked ended up just wearing a blouse for our Yule Ball at the last Con. Thought from the earlier pics thought it was a shorter jacket and a skirt.

I thought it was a skirt too, so I used a salsa skirt for my costume (for the night DH came out)

But we were in Camden, I saw it and fell in love, and then saw this pic and *gasp*. lol.

Is that you as Tonks in your icon? I forgot to get pictures, But i still have the purple hair. :P

Yep,thats me.In a hot weather version of Tonks.lol.. We got lots of pics at the Yule Ball.

I love purple hair. Hope to be able to change out wigs every so often to mimic Tonks hair changing at the next con. Switch from purple to pink to red to etc... Though the purple is my fave.

Yep,it definatly looked like a skirt to me too.I searched high and low for one that looked like the pics the to find its not right.

I just think its awesomely amazing that you found *the* coat. If I lived in the UK I would be running to that market to hunt for it.

Oh, wow, Awesome costumes!

I have dyed purple hair, so I don't think many people realised I was dressed up. I got the impression that a lot of the parents around me hadn't read Harry Potter, and the kids were a little young to pick up on stuff like that. :P

The wig change idea is awesome! You'll really be like Tonks then! Pink's a definite must, since she had pink hair for most of the books!

Tonks was awesome in the movies and she's one of my fav characters in the book (sob). That's a great outfit!

It's nice to see the entire costume. It's so Auror-Tonks; it so perfect.

But I agree about the hair.

Thank you so much for posting a full length picture of her outfit. I wish I had seen that one before our convetion. I got the costume just about totally wrong.

Now to just find that coat or have to suffer in fron of the sewing machine.lol

Why bother taking promo shots if they're not going to release them properly?! WB really, really sucks. For serious.

In other news, Tonks looks awesome in that shot. The only problem I have - like some other people here - is her hair. It just ... looks too much like a wig, you know? It looks all stiff and not like real hair. Blegh.
